A virtual meeting was held between Alnoor University and Liverpool John Moores University (UK).
From the Iraqi side, the meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Ismail Abdul Wahab Ismail, Assistant President of Alnoor University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Omar Al-Layla, Dean of the College of Pharmacy,
and Dr. Bahjat Al-Hasso, Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy.
From the British side, the meeting was attended by Dr. Amanda Bodez and Dr. Abdullah Asrab,
as representatives of the Office of International Relations at Liverpool John Moores University.
The two parties discussed the possibility of opening new avenues for scientific cooperation, academic and field visits, and student exchange programs.
They also discussed research and laboratory collaboration, curriculum exchange, and joint supervision of postgraduate studies.
They explored the possibility of hosting two Master’s programs—Pharmacy and Non-Surgical Cosmetic Science—at Alnoor University in the upcoming academic year, pending official approvals.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the British side expressed its appreciation for Alnoor University's efforts and its commitment to strengthening and ensuring the quality of education. Both parties agreed to continue their joint scientific cooperation efforts.
