Alnoor University participates in the National Day activities of the Erasmus+ Program Baghdad – September 8, 2025

On Monday, September 8, 2025, Alnoor University participated in the National Day activities of the Erasmus+ Info Day program, organized by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the European Union Mission in Iraq. The event will continue for two days.
The university was represented at this event by its President. ,Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Alhajjar,and the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs. Professor Dr. Ismail Abdulwahhab Ismail,and the Director of the Cultural Relations Department. Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Zaidan,alongside Mr. Mohammed Nizar Aziz, Head of the Erasmus Plus Unit at the university.
The activity aims to enhance academic and research cooperation between Iraqi universities and their European counterparts and to expand opportunities for faculty and students to benefit from the scholarships and international programs offered by the European Union.
On the sidelines of his participation, the President of Alnoor University emphasized the importance of opening up to global experiences in the field of higher education and scientific research, as this contributes to developing the university’s performance and enhancing the quality of its outcomes.
For its part, the university’s delegation appreciated the active role of the Ministry of Higher Education in supporting the engagement of Iraqi universities in reputable international programs, noting Alnoor University’s constant pursuit of expanding its participation in joint European projects.
