The President of Alnoor University attends a joint meeting of the French and Iraqi Ministries of Higher Education

At the invitation of the French Ministry of Higher Education, a delegation from the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, headed by the Scientific Deputy Minister, Professor Dr. Haider Abdul-Dhahad, and with the participation of representatives from the Universities of Baghdad, Mosul, and Alnoor, took part in the joint meeting between the two ministries
Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, the President of Alnoor University, represented the university at the meeting, during which a number of scientific ideas were presented and issues related to scholarship programs were discussed
During his intervention, the President of Alnoor University called for including students from private (non-governmental) education in scholarship opportunities, similar to their peers in public universities. This proposal was met with a warm welcome from the French side, with an emphasis on ensuring that the opportunities be directed toward outstanding students.
