Participation of Alnoor University in the First Forum on European Union Grant Programs Erasmus+

Each of participated Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Zaidan,the Director of Cultural Relations at Alnoor University, and Mr. Mohammad Nizar Aziz, Head of the Erasmus Plus Unit in the same department, participated in the first forum held by the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which was dedicated to introducing the mechanisms for benefiting from the European Union’s Erasmus+ grant programs
 The forum was held on Monday, October 27, 2025, via the Microsoft Teams platform, with the participation of representatives from several Iraqi universities
During the forum, Dr. Mowaffaq Sajid, Director of the Organizations Department at the Ministry, Ms. Sahar Salam, and Dr. Ali Almakasisi from the Erasmus Plus Division presented a comprehensive explanation of the Ministry’s action plan aimed at activating the participation of all Iraqi universities in the European Union grant programs, and at utilizing the educational and training opportunities available for students, faculty members, and administrative staff at these universities. The representatives of Alnoor University expressed their gratitude to the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations for organizing this fruitful forum, which enhances the means of academic cooperation between Iraqi universities and European Union institutions.
