As part of the events of the seventh edition of the Abi Tamam Festival, which bears the name of the late Iraqi poet Yusuf Alsayegh, Alnoor University on the morning of Saturday, 22 November 2025, received a select group of Iraqi and Arab poets participating in the festival, as its main supporter
A special reception was organized for the poets at the university presidency which was attended by,To Professor Dr. Yasin Taha Al-Hajjar The university president and Dr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees,Professor Dr. Ismail Abdulwahhab Ismail Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs,Professor Dr. Khzaal Fahti Zaidan Dean of the College of Education Prof. Dr. Muneer Albadrani, the university’s scientific advisor. After the meeting, a tour of the campus was arranged for the guests to familiarize themselves with its academic environment and modern facilities, and with the civilized scene it presents, reflecting the development of higher education in Nineveh
After the visit concluded, the delegation proceeded to the School Activities Department in the Nineveh Education Directorate, marking the beginning of the Mosuli Recitations session as part of the festival’s cultural program.
