On Tuesday, December 29, 2025, Alnoor University held a meeting via video conference with UMT University of Malaysia to discuss prospects for scientific and cultural cooperation between the two sides
Participating in the meeting on behalf of Alnoor University were: prof. Dr. Khazal Fathy Zidane Hassan, Dean of the College of Education,Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Zaidan, the Director of the Department of Cultural Relations at the University Presidency, and ,Assistant Professor Dr. Shuaib Saeed Fattah Head of the Department of English, and ,Dr. Sami Abdullah Najm The faculty member in the same department. Meanwhile, representing UMT University were Dr. Abdul Monis, Associate Dean of the College of Education, and Dr. Qais Kazem, Director of the Language Center at the university
The discussions addressed areas of cooperation in the humanities, particularly Arabic language, English language, and history, in addition to business administration and computer technologies. The talks also emphasized the mutual desire to sign a framework memorandum of understanding that includes student and faculty exchange, organizing conferences, publishing joint research, supervising postgraduate students, and implementing online training courses
The two sides agreed to hold subsequent meetings to finalize arrangements and develop future cooperation projects.
