A scientific visit for students of the Translation and English Departments at Alnoor University to the Natural History Museum of University of Mosul

The Departments of Translation and English Language at Alnoor University organized a scientific visit to the Natural History Museum of University of Mosul on Sunday, 15/2/2026, with the participation of several professors and students.

The participants toured the museum halls and its exhibits in the fields of biology, geology, and environmental diversity, and listened to an explanation about its history and its role in supporting scientific research and promoting environmental culture.

The visit comes as part of the two departments’ efforts to connect theoretical knowledge with practical application and to promote interactive learning beyond the classroom, thereby contributing to the development of students’ cognitive and cultural skills. At its conclusion, the members of the University of Alnoor team expressed their gratitude to the museum administration, emphasizing the importance of continuing academic cooperation between the institutions in the city of Mosul.
