The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Alnoor University is holding a workshop on artificial intelligence concepts

Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Saad Altaan Dean of the College of Engineering In Alnoor University and attendance Professor Dr. Khzaal Fahti Zaidan Dean of the College of Education .The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the college held a scientific workshop on the morning of Tuesday, 2026/3/3, covering concepts of artificial intelligence and its contemporary applications in engineering and medical fields. The workshop was managed and its topics were presented by Lecturer Lubna Ahmed ShahabThe assistant lecturer in the department presented the theoretical foundations of artificial intelligence, the mechanisms of algorithm operation, as well as its key applications in biomedical engineering, particularly in medical data analysis, diagnostic support, and the development of intelligent devices and biotechnologies. The workshop witnessed notable interaction from the students, who raised a series of questions and inquiries, adding a fruitful, dialogue-driven atmosphere that enhanced their understanding of the concepts discussed and contributed to broadening their insights into the future of artificial intelligence and its role in advancing the healthcare and engineering sectors.
