The Department of Architecture at Alnoor University is organizing a field visit to the New Forest, along with a tree-planting campaign

Under the guidance of Professor Dr. Saad Altaan Dean of the College of Engineering At Alnoor University, in the presence of a distinguished group of officials in Nineveh, the Department of Architecture at the college organized a field visit for its students to the New Forest on the morning of Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The visit was supervised by Dr. Hatem Qasim Aljumaily, Head of the Department, and accompanied by several faculty members. This visit was conducted in cooperation with Ivory Tower Fences Company and included a tree-planting campaign as part of volunteer work. The students participated in planting a number of trees and contributed to enhancing the green spaces in the area. The initiative aims to instill a culture of volunteerism among students, develop their sense of environmental responsibility, and connect the theoretical aspects of architecture with practical fieldwork that helps improve the urban environment and preserve nature.
