Alnoor University sponsors the Maqamat Altajalli evening in support of cultural identity in Mosul
As part of its cultural and social responsibility and its pioneering role in supporting literary and artistic activity, the University of Alnoor, represented by the Alnoor Center for Cultural Heritage, contributed to sponsoring the cultural musical evening (Maqamat Altajalli) (Stations of Manifestation), organized by the Baytuna for Culture, Arts, and Heritage Foundation,” the cultural platform of the University of Alnoor, held in the historic Tetinjia House in the city of Mosul.
This support comes as a confirmation of the university’s commitment to strengthening cultural identity and preserving civilizational heritage through sponsoring events that contribute to reviving musical and literary traditions, and providing refined creative spaces for the community.
The evening witnessed a distinguished attendance and remarkable interaction, where the poet Dr. Walid Alsarraf and the musician Dr. Khaled Muhammad Ali presented an artistic experience that combined the beauty of the word with the depth of the Iraqi maqam, reflecting the authenticity of Mosul’s art and its civilizational continuity.
