The Industrial Advisory Council of the College of Science at Alnoor University Holds a Meeting to Discuss Academic Curricula
The Industrial Advisory Council of the College of Science at Alnoor University held a meeting on the morning of Monday, 27 July 2026, chaired by Professor Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Al-Sinjari, Dean of the College, and attended by the Council members, to discuss the development of the College's curricula in line with the evolving needs of the labor market.
The meeting reviewed the approved and proposed curricula prepared by the Ministerial Committee for the Departments of Forensic Sciences, Physics, and Cybersecurity. These curricula were compared with the curriculum currently adopted at Alnoor University, which is based on the University of Mosul's curriculum and implemented in accordance with the Bologna Process.
The attendees also discussed aligning academic curricula and learning outcomes with the needs of the labor market to ensure the preparation of graduates equipped with the required scientific competencies and practical skills. This alignment aims to enhance the quality of the College's academic programs in line with Alnoor University's commitment to advancing education and connecting its learning outcomes with professional and developmental requirements.
