A Researcher from Alnoor University Publishes a Scientific Paper in an International Journal Indexed in Scopus

In a new scientific achievement added to Alnoor University’s research record, researcher Mohammed Abdul Basit Ibrahim, Assistant Lecturer at Alnoor University, in collaboration with researcher Ari Dakhil Abdul Dasi, Assistant Lecturer at Alhamdaniya University, published a joint scientific paper in the Asian Journal of Human Services, an internationally recognized journal indexed in the Scopus database. The paper is entitled:

“A Pragmatic Analysis of Iraqi Legal Documents Translation Errors”

It examines pragmatic errors that arise in the translation of Iraqi legal documents, focusing on their impact on conveying legal meaning and ensuring accuracy in the wording of translated texts. It also discusses the key challenges faced by translators in this field and presents scholarly approaches that contribute to improving the quality of legal translation, thereby enhancing the accuracy and reliability of transferring legal texts between the two languages.

This research highlights the importance of scientific collaboration among Iraqi universities and reflects Alnoor University’s and its researchers’ commitment to contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge and publishing in reputable international journals, thereby enhancing the academic presence of Iraqi universities at the international level.
