Alnoor University Council held its first meeting of the 2026–2027 academic year, chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, and attended by all the deans of the University’s colleges, as part of the University’s preparations for the start of the new academic year.
The Council discussed a number of issues related to preparations for the 2026–2027 academic year, foremost among them the completion of class schedules and the strengthening of teaching staff in line with the requirements of academic programs, as well as efforts to consolidate the educational and academic process. The discussion also addressed the development of the academic environment and enhancing the University’s engagement with regional and international institutions and universities, thereby contributing to broadening the horizons of scientific and academic cooperation.
The Council also discussed and approved the University’s scientific and research plan for the 2026–2027 academic year, including priorities and research programs aimed at advancing the quality of scientific research, encouraging high-quality scholarly output, and strengthening the University’s research presence both locally and internationally.
The Council emphasized the importance of integrating efforts among the University Presidency, its colleges, and academic departments to ensure an organized and effective start to the new academic year and to achieve the highest levels of quality in education, scientific research, and community service.
