On the afternoon of Wednesday, December 24, 2025, the Council of Alnoor University received a high-level scientific delegation from Gulf College in the Sultanate of Oman, in the presence of Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Alattar, President of the Northern Technical University, and,Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Alhajjar, The President of Alnoor University and Dr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali. During the meeting, discussions focused on the current state of higher education at both the Iraqi and Omani universities, while exploring prospects for joint cooperation in the fields of education, scientific research, and innovation, in a manner that contributes to strengthening academic partnerships and fostering the exchange of scientific expertise between the two institutions.
Both sides affirmed the importance of expanding future areas of cooperation in ways that serve students and researchers, contribute to elevating the scientific and research level, and strengthen academic openness among Arab universities.
