The Debate Club, in collaboration with the Student Activities Department at Alnoor University, held the second edition of the Alnoor University Debates (training course and championship) on Tuesday morning, 17/3/2026, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Saad Saleh Diab, with the participation of a number of students from the university’s colleges.
This event aims to develop students’ dialogue and debate skills, enhance their ability to present and defend ideas in a scientific and logical manner, and to consolidate a culture of constructive discussion and acceptance of differing opinions.
The championship witnessed distinguished academic competitions among the participating teams, where the debates addressed a number of intellectual and cultural topics of interest to students and society, in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and positive interaction among both participants and the audience.
This event is part of a series of activities that the University of Alnoor is keen to organize to support students’ talents and develop their intellectual and leadership abilities.
