The Department of English Language at Alnoor University analyzes cyber threats and electronic extortion through language as a weapon

(Words as a Weapon: Analysis of Cyber Threats and Online Blackmail in the Digital Age)
She supervised it and presented its key themes Assistant Lecturer Abeer Abdul Qadir Ahmed.
The workshop addressed the importance of language as a tool that may be used negatively in the digital space, highlighting methods of online threats and electronic extortion, as well as mechanisms for analyzing the discourse used in such crimes, in addition to explaining ways of raising awareness and prevention. The workshop also witnessed interaction from attendees through questions and contributions, which enriched the discussion and deepened understanding of this vital topic.
