A workshop in the Civil Engineering Department at Alnoor University on water security

The Department of Civil Engineering held College of Engineering At Alnoor University, and in cooperation with the University’s Continuing Education Center, a specialized scientific workshop titled (Water Security and Adaptation to Climate Change) was held on Monday morning, 13/4/2026, under the supervision and attendance of Professor Dr. Saad Altaan Dean of the College of Engineering
The workshop addressed important topics related to mechanisms for securing water resources in light of increasing environmental challenges, as well as strategies for adapting to climate change and its impact on water sources. The workshop lecture was delivered by Dr. Diaa Aldin Ata Allah, where he reviewed the most prominent scientific and engineering solutions for sustainable water management, with a focus on the importance of future planning to confront water scarcity.
