The Translation Department in the College of arts At Alnoor University, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, on Monday, 13/4/2026, a scientific workshop titled , in the presence of Professor Dr. wael ali ahmed , Dean of the College of Arts
The workshop addressed the concept of translation as a creative and cognitive process that goes beyond the literal transfer of texts, encompassing the re-production of meaning in a way that aligns with different cultural and linguistic contexts. It also highlighted the role of the translator in building knowledge bridges between peoples and promoting cultural understanding.
The workshop was chaired and its topics were presented by the lecturer Abdullah Saud Abdul Mohsen, where he reviewed the most prominent challenges facing translators, as well as mechanisms for developing creative and cognitive skills in the field of translation.
