As part of strengthening cooperation between educational and sports institutions, Alnoor University received Alshorta Sports Club during its participation in the Iraq Stars League and took responsibility for accompanying its players throughout their stay in Duhok Province. Based on the directives of the University Presidency, a special committee was formed for coordination and follow-up, and the Director of the Student Activities Department at the university was assigned to directly supervise its work. He also accompanied the team in the field during its training sessions and match preparations, provided the necessary logistical coordination with relevant authorities, monitored the team during the match within the Iraq Stars League, and offered the required moral and administrative support. This initiative was met with appreciation and praise from the management of Alshorta Club, which expressed its gratitude and thanks to Alnoor University for this fruitful cooperation and the high level of attention the team received. Alshorta Club defeated Zakho SC by two goals to one. This support and effort were crowned with a valuable victory for the club, keeping its chances alive in the competition for the top three positions.
