The Department of Chemistry organizes a workshop on chemical and biological hazards in laboratories

The Department of Chemistry organized in College of Science At Alnoor University, on Wednesday, 15/4/2026, a scientific workshop entitled (Chemical and Biological Hazards in Scientific Laboratories) was held, under the supervision and management of Professor Dr. Diaa Najm Alsubha
And the workshop witnessed the participation of both Assistant Professor Dr. Marwan Mohammed Abdullah Alsharouk, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul Hadi Jasim, along with Lecturer Dr. Reem Nawaf Hamdoun, where multiple topics were addressed related to safe handling of chemical substances and biological agents inside laboratories, in addition to introducing safety procedures and prevention measures against potential hazards.
The workshop aimed to enhance awareness among students and researchers about the importance of adhering to occupational safety guidelines, contributing to the provision of a safe and supportive laboratory environment for scientific work.
