Launch of the Activities of the 52nd Traffic Week in Nineveh in Cooperation with Alnoor University

Under the patronage of the Director General of Traffic, Lieutenant General Dr. Uday Samir Halim, the activities of the 52nd Traffic Week were launched in Nineveh Governorate under the slogan tamma ,We_Are_Waiting_For_You, attended by the Technical Deputy Governor of Nineveh, the Mayor of Mosul, the Commander of Nineveh Police, and a number of members of the Nineveh Provincial Council, alongside directors of service departments and a distinguished group of official and academic figures.

The event, organized by the Nineveh Traffic Directorate in cooperation with Al-Noor University, included a workshop titled (Road Accidents and Ways to Reduce Them) which aimed to enhance traffic awareness among members of the community and highlight the main causes of accidents and the mechanisms for reducing them, in a way that contributes to protecting lives and minimizing losses.

Alnoor University emphasized, through its active participation, its continued commitment to supporting awareness initiatives and serving the community, stemming from its academic and humanitarian responsibility to promote traffic culture, reinforce public safety concepts, and enhance civilized behavior and adherence to traffic rules, in a way that positively contributes to the security and safety of society.
