A Delegation from Alnoor University and Baytuna Foundation Visits Professor Dr. Ahmed Qasim Aljumaa to Check on His Health
A delegation from Alnoor University, accompanied by Baytuna Foundation for Culture, Arts and Heritage the cultural arm of Alnoor University visited Professor Dr. Ahmed Qasim Aljumaa, Head of the Department of Archaeological Tourism, College of arts, at Alnoor University to inquire about his health following a surgical operation, in a gesture reflecting the spirit of loyalty and appreciation for his outstanding scholarly and cultural contributions to preserving the heritage and civilizational identity of the city of Mosul.
The delegation included Professor Dr. Ismail Abdul Wahab Ismail, Assistant President of Alnoor University; Professor Dr. Wael Alnahhas, Dean of the College of Arts; and Dr. Nabil Noor Al-Din, Director of the Alnoor Center for Heritage Preservation. The delegation also included Mr. Khalid Abdul Karim Alobaidi, Technical Deputy Governor of Nineveh; Dr. Mohammed Zuhair, Director of Cultural Relations at Alnoor University; Mr. Saif, representing the Lamassu Organization; the staff of the Baytuna Foundation for Culture, Arts, and Heritage; as well as a number of students from the Department of Archaeological Tourism at Alnoor University.
During the visit, the delegation members expressed their deep appreciation for Professor Ahmed Qasim Aljumaa's distinguished academic and cultural standing, commending his remarkable efforts in preserving Mosul's heritage and enriching the Iraqi library with numerous books and scholarly studies. They also praised his academic role in educating and preparing generations of specialists in the field of archaeological tourism.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation wished Professor Dr. Ahmed Qasim Aljumaa a speedy recovery, continued good health and well-being, and a prompt return to his scientific and academic duties, so that he may continue his distinguished contributions in the service of Alnoor University, the city of Mosul, and Iraq.
