Professor Shaker Mahmoud Saeed, Assistant Dean, achieved College of Pharmacy A faculty member at Alnoor University has achieved a new scientific milestone by publishing a research paper in Scientific Reports, a journal published by the Nature Portfolio. It is recognized as one of the world's leading scientific journals and is ranked in the first quartile (Q1) in the field of Multidisciplinary Sciences according to both Scopus and Web of Science classifications.

The research was titled:
The Integrated Application of Humic Acid, Urea, and a Microalgae-Based Biostimulant Enhances Drought Tolerance in Pea (Pisum sativum L.)

The study investigated the effect of the integrated application of humic acid, urea, and a microalgae-derived biostimulant on enhancing the drought tolerance of pea (Pisum sativum L.) plants, thereby contributing to improved agricultural productivity and increased crop efficiency in water-scarce environments.
