Alnoor University's Assistant President for Scientific Affairs Chairs the Doctoral Dissertation Defense Committee in Translation for a University of Mosul Student

As part of the active scholarly engagement of Alnoor University's academic community in participating in the examination committees of master's theses and doctoral dissertations at Iraqi universities, chaired Dr. Ismail Abdulwahhab Ismail,On the morning of Sunday, 5 July 2026, the Assistant President of Alnoor University for Scientific Affairs chaired the PhD dissertation defense committee in Translation for the dissertation submitted by Zainab Fahmi Ahmed, a postgraduate student at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, entitled: (Evaluating Machine-Generated Translation of Documentary Videos on the YouTube Platform)
The examination committee also included faculty members from the University of Mosul. The defense featured an in-depth scholarly discussion of the dissertation's key themes, methodology, and findings. This academic engagement reflects Alnoor University's commitment to supporting scientific research and strengthening academic collaboration with Iraqi universities.
