Alnoor University's Electronic Computing Department Organizes a Workshop to Review SIS System Updates and Discuss Technical Requirements
As part of its ongoing efforts to advance digital transformation and enhance its electronic systems, the Department of Electronic Computing and Digital Transformation at the Presidency of Alnoor University organized a workshop to review the ongoing update of the Student Information System (SIS). The workshop was attended by representatives from the relevant departments and was chaired by the Head of the Department, Assistant Lecturer Abdulrahman Abdulkhaliq Mahmoud.
The workshop featured a review of the latest updates to the Student Information System (SIS) and a discussion of the technical and technological requirements necessary for its further development, in accordance with the directives and instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in alignment with the requirements of academic and administrative operations. It also addressed proposed technical solutions to current challenges, ensuring the system's readiness, improving its operational efficiency, and enhancing data integration among the relevant units and departments.
The Director of the Electronic Computing and Digital Transformation Department emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous coordination and cooperation among all relevant parties, and working in accordance with a unified vision to ensure the successful implementation of all stages of the system's development. He noted that these efforts will support the University's digital transformation journey, enhance the quality of the electronic services provided by Alnoor University, keep pace with technological advancements, and better serve both the educational and administrative processes.
