Alnoor University Achieves a Distinguished Milestone with 12 Projects Advancing to the Final Round of the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NURAI 2026)

Alnoor University has achieved a new scientific milestone in the fields of innovation and artificial intelligence, with 12 of its projects qualifying for the final round of the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NURAI 2026). The championship is organized under the supervision of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This achievement reflects the advanced academic caliber of the University's students, as well as the competence and excellence of its academic and supervisory staff.

The shortlisted projects covered a wide range of vital fields, including medical, agricultural, environmental, educational, industrial, and community service applications. The participating teams presented innovative solutions powered by artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision, the Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics to address real-world challenges and deliver advanced technological solutions that serve various sectors.

The championship report indicated that all the qualified projects fulfilled the participation requirements by submitting their scientific documentation and presentation materials. Several of these projects received outstanding evaluation scores of (100%), reflecting the quality of their ideas and the high standard of implementation achieved by the participating teams.
