Alnoor University Launches the First Volunteer Psychological First Aid Team Through the Department of Clinical Psychology

The department announced the launch of the First Aid Psychological Support Volunteer Team and the commencement of the first training course for its members. The initiative aims to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills required to provide Psychological First Aid (PFA) in accordance with scientifically recognized principles, enabling them to contribute effectively to humanitarian response efforts during crises and emergencies.
The first training course commenced on Saturday, 18 July 2026, and will continue for three months, with sessions held twice a week. Participants receive specialized training under the supervision of a distinguished team of experts in mental health and psychological counseling.
This program reflects Alnoor University's commitment to preparing a cadre of students capable of promoting a culture of psychological support and volunteerism. Team members will serve as ambassadors for mental health both on and off campus, contributing to community service and strengthening community preparedness to respond effectively to a wide range of humanitarian situations.
