A Master’s thesis at the University of Tikrit examines the presence of myth in the narratives of the Head of the Alnoor Journal for Human Studies Unit at Al-Noor University
A master’s thesis discussing mythology in the narratives of writer Iman Al-Muhammadawi, Head of the Alnoor Journal for Human Studies Unit at Al-Noor University, was defended at the College of Arts, University of Tikrit. The thesis was submitted by student Ahmed Abdul-Salam Shattar Al-Obaidi to the Department of Arabic Language.
The thesis highlighted the manifestations of myth and its artistic and semantic functions in literary narrative, as well as the symbolic and aesthetic dimensions it embodies, which contributed to shaping narrative texts and deepening their intellectual perspectives.
This discussion comes within the framework of academic interest in studying contemporary literary experiences and promoting critical research in the fields of narrative and linguistics. The study also represents a scholarly contribution that sheds light on a contemporary Iraqi literary experience.
