Alnoor University Launches the Activities of the Science and Technology Parks Department to Promote Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The Science and Technology Parks Department at Alnoor University held its first meeting, attended by Professor Dr. Ismail Abdulwahab Ismail, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, along with a number of representatives of companies and relevant organizations. The meeting was held as a step toward establishing the practical foundations for launching the department’s work and activating its role in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.
The meeting also addressed the department’s working mechanisms and future programs, particularly those related to organizing training workshops and practical activities targeting university students, thereby contributing to identifying their potential and developing their scientific, practical, and creative skills.
The importance of guiding students to embrace their ideas and transform them into viable private projects that can be further developed and implemented was also emphasized. This would foster a culture of entrepreneurship, giving students the opportunity to own their projects and build their professional futures on the foundations of innovation and productivity.
The launch of the activities of the Science and Technology Parks Department comes as part of Alnoor University’s efforts to provide a university environment that fosters creativity, link academic knowledge with the needs of the labor market, and create broader opportunities for students to develop their ideas and transform them into projects with economic and social value.
