A Faculty Member from Alnoor University Chairs a PhD Dissertation Defense Committee at the University of Mosul
Professor Dr. Diaa Najm Abdullah Al-Subha, a faculty member at the College of Education at Alnoor University, chaired the PhD thesis defense committee for doctoral student Reem Abd Ahmed on the morning of Monday, August 17, 2026, for her thesis entitled:
(Quantitative microgram estimation of a number of pharmaceutical compounds using different analytical methods,) which she submitted to the Department of Chemistry, College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Mosul.
The thesis addressed the development of diverse and sensitive analytical methods for the determination of several different pharmaceutical compounds, through the use of a range of organic reagents and dyes, based on various chemical principles and reactions, including the formation of ion-association complexes, oxidation-reduction reactions, fluorescence, diazotization, and coupling.
The participation of Professor Dr. Diaa Najm Abdullah Al-Subha as chair of the discussion committee underscores the academic and scientific presence of Alnoor University’s faculty members, as well as their active contribution to evaluating scientific research and discussing university theses and dissertations. It also strengthens scientific communication between Alnoor University and academic and research institutions across Iraq.
