Dean of the College of Law and Political Science at Alnoor University Participates in the Discussion of a PhD Dissertation at the University of Mosul
Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mustafa Ali, Dean of the College of Law and Political Science at Alnoor University, participated on the morning of Monday, August 24, 2026, as a member of the committee examining the doctoral candidate Abdul-Khaliq Mutlaq Saleh Omar Al-Khafaji on his dissertation submitted to the College of Law at the University of Mosul, entitled: (Crimes Arising from the Practice of Negative Social Customs and Traditions: A Comparative Study).
The thesis addressed an important legal and social issue by examining crimes associated with certain negative social customs and traditions, analyzing their effects and implications for society, and studying the relevant legal remedies within a comparative framework.
At the conclusion of the discussion, the Dean of the College of Law presented Dr. Ahmed Mustafa with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of the College’s appreciation for his contribution to the discussion.
The participation of Dr. Ahmed Mustafa Ali in the thesis defense underscores Alnoor University’s active scientific and academic presence, as well as the contributions of its faculty members to thesis defense committees and scientific activities, further strengthening academic communication and collaboration among Iraqi universities.
