The Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques at Alnoor University Continues Its Training Course to Qualify Graduates and Enhance Their Professional Readiness

In the presence of Professor Dr. Yassar Yahya Husain Abdulla Altamer Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, at Alnoor University, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Hadi Mohammed eyhmeidThe Head of the Medical Laboratory Techniques Department at the College stated that the department, in cooperation with the University’s Continuing Education Center, continues to conduct its professional readiness training course for graduates of the Medical Laboratory Techniques Department. The course aims to prepare and qualify graduates to enter laboratory work environments competently.
The second day of the course, held on Sunday, September 6, 2026, featured a lecture delivered by Dr. Mohammed Amin Mahmoud on “Quality, Safety, and Modern Laboratory Practices.” The lecture addressed a number of important scientific and professional topics, including quality management systems in medical laboratories, laboratory errors and ways to minimize them, biosafety and infection control, as well as a review of the latest technologies and practices adopted in medical laboratories.
