On the main court of Al-Noor University College's indoor sports facility, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, Dean of Al-Noor University College, the Al-Noor University Table Tennis Championship for Universities and Colleges in Nineveh Province was held on Monday morning, 30/12/2019. This tournament marked the conclusion of the sporting events in Nineveh for the year 2019, taking place on its penultimate day. Talented table tennis players from the University of Mosul, Nineveh University, Al-Hamdaniya University, Northern Technical University, and both Al-Hadbaa and Al-Noor University Colleges participated in the championship.
Organized by the Student Activities Department at Al-Noor University College and hosted by the college itself, the championship witnessed intense competition among 18 students, culminating in the announcement of its results. Al-Noor University College secured the first-place position, followed by Northern Technical University in second place, and the University of Mosul in third place.
At the end of the event, Prof. Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, the Dean of Al-Noor University College, presented trophies, medals, and certificates to the winners from the participating universities, as well as to team officials and students.
