The Digital Media Department was established in response to the market demand in the media field for specialized graduates in electronic media, adhering to the highest global quality standards. This comes amidst immense transformations in the telecommunications technology field and its increasing reliance
on electronic digital media, which has become a significant pillar in supporting comprehensive and sustainable development by harnessing creative and innovative energies to enhance society. Digital media has wide-ranging applications
in information exchange, news dissemination, opinion shaping, and influencing public opinion across various digital media fields, including journalism, radio and television broadcasting, and public relations.
The department grants a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media following the student's completion of a comprehensive academic program in accordance with global quality standards. It keeps pace with successive global developments and prepares media personnel trained in editing, directing, and designing in diverse digital environments.
Digital media has a contemporary scientific vision in light of the tremendous global developments in communication technology, which were accompanied by shifts and changes in the forms and contents of print, audio and audio-visual media, during which changes were imposed.
Essential to the paths of traditional media and its transformation into digital media that is in harmony with the digital environment and new global media, during which knowledge formation and media capacity building for human resources of media specialists and keeping up with

The mission of digital media revolves around qualifying and training the student professionally and ethically, and building their capabilities to pioneer new media work, to respond to the needs of the labor market and to create appropriate opportunities for entrepreneurship through an academic and professional program.

Journalist, news representative, or news editor, writer of newspaper articles and columns, and journalistic investigations, as well as the possibility of conducting press interviews.
