The Department of Computer Science seeks to be one of the most important scientifically distinguished departments capable of graduating outstanding students in the light of the existence of an open competitive market. It also aspires to develop scientific research so as to enhance the effectiveness of education and improve the outstanding knowledge of the faculty member
The Department of Educational Computer Science contributes to the performance of the academic mission. The Department ensures the number of outstanding quality graduates with an academic background that combines the basic knowledge and skills required in the labor market while upholding ethics and values.
Preparing and qualifying specialists to meet the requirements of the labor market in both public and private sectors in computer science by diversifying the ways of learning and teaching and training students in applying knowledge and skills acquired to solve real-world problems and creating the right climate for students so that they can apply their knowledge and skills gained in recognizing the needs and problems of society and social matters related to computers, providing outstanding academic programs in the field of computer science in both theoretical and applied faculties that conform to international standards of academic quality and meet the need of the labor market to encourage and develop scientific research in the fields of computer science in general in the fields of artificial intelligence, automatics, computer linguistics and networks in particular and to prepare a stimulating environment for faculty members to develop their knowledge and educational and research skills building and developing partnership with government, civil and society sectors in all institutions.
Upon graduation, the student is awarded a bachelor’s degree inةeducational computer science. This department is keen to keep pace with the latest scientific and practical technologies in the field of information technology and computers and to provide the community with graduates capable of teaching in a way that qualifies them to advance the educational process using computer technologies, as well as providing the community with work capacities in various sectors.
