Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboodi, and under the supervision of the President of Mosul University, Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Deen Al-Ahmadi, and the President of Al-Noor University, Professor Dr. Yasin Taha Al-Hajjar, with the presence of the President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Aliaa Abbas Al-Attar, and Mr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Noor University, as well as the assistants to the President of Mosul University for scientific and administrative affairs, and the deans of colleges at both Mosul and Al-Noor Universities, along with a selection of professors from Iraqi universities, the proceedings of the Fourth International Scientific Conference of the Colleges of Education for Humanities at Mosul University and Al-Noor University took place. The conference theme was "Humanities in Achieving Sustainable Development". Two speeches were delivered at the conference opening, the first by Professor Dr. Hazem Thanoon Ismail, Dean of the College of Education for Humanities at Mosul University, and the second by Professor Dr. Khazal Fathi Zidan, Dean of the College of Education at Al-Noor University. Following this, two videos were presented, the first about the College of Education for Humanities and the second about Al-Noor University. Afterwards, the Iraqi poet, Dr. Jasim Mohammed Jasim, recited a welcoming poem, extending a rhetorical welcome to the guests from Nineveh participating in the conference, representing various Iraqi provinces.
