The English Language Department at the College of Education at Al-Noor University initiated a new tradition, gathering fourth-year students from the English Language and Translation departments at Al-Noor, Mosul, and Al-Hamdaniya Universities on Monday morning, 29/4/2024, in Hall D1 at Al-Noor University, as part of a competition to present their graduation research projects in five minutes to select the top three projects based on the best timing of the presentation. Certificates of appreciation were awarded for the participating works, with the competition including the presentation of 21 research projects before two academic committees composed of faculty members from Ninawa Province universities. The competition commenced with speeches delivered by Dr. Khazal Fathi Zaidan, Dean of the College of Education, and Dr. Nida Salim Omar, Assistant Professor and Chair of the English Language Department at the College of Education, followed by a film produced by students of the English Language Department at the college.
