Professor Dr. Sameer Khalaf Abdullah, Assistant to the President for Scientific Affairs at Al-Noor University, chaired a discussion committee for doctoral student Neveen Nawzad Rajab. The dissertation was titled "Characterization and isolation of some fungi from domestic pigeon droppings in the Governorate of Erbil" in the Department of Biology, College of Science, Salahaddin University in Erbil. The defense took place on Sunday, 28/4/2024. The committee members included Assistant Professor Khattab Ahmed Mustafa from the University of Sulaimaniyah, Assistant Professor Hiro Mohammed Ismail from Salahaddin University, Assistant Professor Asia Abdulhamid Mohammed from the University of Duhok, Assistant Professor Vian Badraldeen from Erbil Medical University, and Professor Dr. Nadim Ahmed Ramadan from Al-Hadbaa University College, serving as the supervisor. The student successfully obtained her doctoral degree.
