With the presence of Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, President of Al-Noor University, the university held its second international scientific conference on medical and health sciences. The opening session took place on Wednesday morning, 17/4/2024, within the university premises. Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar commenced the session with a speech highlighting the preparatory efforts for the conference, its research, and researchers then Dr. Omar Qutaiba Al-Lela, a member of the preparatory committee, announced the launch of the university's refereed scientific journal in medical sciences. The conference commenced with two simultaneous sessions in the research halls for the keynote speakers. The first session was chaired by Dr. Muayyad Aziz Al-Abdali and featured a presentation by Dr. Nabeel Najib Fadhil, a professor at Nineveh University's College of Medicine. The second session was chaired by Dr. Muslim Laith Al-Obaidi and featured a presentation by Dr. Mohammed Aleskandarany, a professor at the University of Derby in the United Kingdom.
