Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and with direct supervision from Dr. Salah Hadi Saleh, the Head of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Department at the Ministry, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, the President of Al-Noor University, and Professor Dr. Jafar Ramadan Mohammed, the Assistant President of Nineveh University for Academic Affairs, the university hosted the competitions of government and private universities and colleges participating in the National Forum for the Great Challenge. This event was organized by the Student Activities Department in the Ministry in collaboration with the Iraqi Scout Association from April 21st to April 25th within the premises of Al-Noor University. The opening session took place at the university, where speeches were delivered by Dr. Thaier Rashid, the Ministry's representative and head of the Ministry's University Scout Committee, Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, the President of Al-Noor University, and Dr. Ayad Khalaf Hassan, the International Coordinator of the Iraqi Scouts. A film about Al-Noor University was presented, along with films representing participating and supporting universities and colleges.
