The Continuing Education Department at the Presidency of Al-Noor University organized an on-site workshop titled "Global Search Engines – How to Register and Benefit from Them"
on Tuesday, 23/4/2024, at 12:00 PM in (Laboratories Building // D1),
under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Jasim Khalaf Elias, the Director of the Department of Continuing Education. The workshop was presented by
Asst. Prof. Dr. Fakhir Kareem Rahim
and Asst. Lect. Zainab Ahmed Abdul-Hameed.
The workshop covered several topics including:
- How to register in search engines (ORCID, Research Gate, Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar).
-What is Scopus and how to register research in it.
- What is citation and its benefits.
- Publishing in local and international journals and distinguishing reputable journals from predatory ones. This topic is closely related to the validation and development of academic achievements.
