Dr. Talal has been a professor and head of the Department of Dentistry at Al-Noor University College since 2018. He performs the tasks of heading the department, as well as teaching fixed prosthodontics, dental treatment, and dental anatomy in both the practical and theoretical aspects. He obtained a bachelor’s certificate in dentistry from the University of Mosul in 1989, a master’s certificate in dental treatment from the University of Baghdad in 1993, and a doctorate in prosthodontics from the University of Damascus in 2012. He worked as a professor in the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul from 1993 to 2018, during which he taught dental treatment materials and dental compensations for students of undergraduate and postgraduate studies. He graduated with scientific titles until he obtained the professorship title in 2014. He also held many positions as rapporteur of the conservative treatment branch, assistant of the dean for administrative affairs, and then the dean of the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul from 2014 to 2018. He was delegated as a visiting professor to teach at Ibb University in Yemen in 2002, and he was a lecturer at the Syrian International Private University for Science and Technology in 2008 and a lecturer at the University of Duhok from 2014 to 2015. He completed 23 scientific research papers published in local and international journals and supervised many master’s students. and Ph.D.

He has dozens of participations in local and international conferences and as a lecturer in many scientific forums. He has been practicing his private practice in a specialized Dental Clinic since 1993 until now. He is interested in the field of dental implants and endodontic treatments, as well as in aesthetic dentistry.
