Dr. Faris Ahmed Al-Dulaimi, a professor in the Department of Law at Al-Noor University College, has attained promoted from Lecturer to Assistant Professor. According to a ministerial order issued by the Scientific Promotions Division in the Private University Education Department in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Asst. Lect. Dalal Waadallah, the instructor at Al-Noor University College, on behalf of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division, participated in the training workshop entitled (Conformity Report: A Qualitative Step towards Institutional Accreditation), which was held by the Academic Supervision and Evaluation Authority on Tuesday, 7/6/2022 at the Continuing Education Center / University of Baghdad, where the mechanism of writing the conformity report was clarified according to the national institutional accreditation standards.
Al-Noor University College is keen to provide field visits opportunities for its students to deepen their theoretical studies by pairing them with experiences and live observations. The Department of Pharmacy organized a scientific visit to prepare its students for the Museum of Natural History and Biodiversity at the University of Mosul. The visit was supervised by the Asst. Lect. Zina Dabyan Mohamed Zaki and the Asst. Lect. Marwa Mohamed Mahmoud as organizers and supervisors for this activity, Dr. Walaa Abdulwahed, Asst. Lect. Marwa Badr Faleh, Asst. Lect. Aws Samim and Asst. Lect. Raed Burhan as participants. The group of students from the department were briefed on the scientific selections in this museum and gave them a detailed explanation. This museum includes mummified animals that were present in the endemic environment or still exist, as well as the largest dinosaur figure in the museums of academic institutions, in addition to the largest fish tank. The final exams for students of the different stages in the twelve scientific departments of Al-Noor University College take place in Bartella and Al-Shallalat area smoothly by taking into account the examination regulations as issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and as it is known about the college of seriousness, sobriety and scientific concern. With the keenness of officials in the departments of the college administration to visit the examination halls and laboratories and inspect the students while they are taking the exams, in the forefront is the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajar.
Commissioned by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a ministerial committee visits Al-Noor University College to supervise the Assessment Examinations for departments of dentistry and pharmacy students.
Dr. Ali Ashgar Abd, Assistant Professor at Al-Noor University College, published a new research with other researchers in the Japanese Tekyo Medical Journal, which is one of Scopus containers, under the title “Molecular Study of Theophylline Effect on the Neural Stem Cells Differentiation in Vitro.”
Two professors from Al-Noor University College participated in the work of the scientific symposium that was held by the Nineveh Development Association in partnership with the Department of Sociology at the College of Arts and the support of the Mosul United Law Firm and Legal Consultations. Where Dr. Faris Ahmed Al-Dulaimi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Law, presented a lecture entitled (Procedural aspects of divorce and separation lawsuits), and Dr. Rana Saad Al-Sufi, the instructor in the same department, presented a lecture entitled (Increasing divorce rates.. causes and treatments), and each of them received a certificate of participation.
A group of professors specialized in Industrial and Organic Chemistry published a practical research (in the field of treating and improving the quality of used asphalt) in a journal which is within Scopus containers in the first quarter Q1 with a CiteScore impact that equals 4.2 and it is also within Clarivite containers with an Impact Factor equals to 3.6. The journal is considered one of the highest journals in international rankings. The research team consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Owaid and Prof. Dr. Ammar Ahmed Hamdoun from the Department of Chemistry / the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Mosul, and Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Yaqdan Saleh from the Department of Control of the Handling of Chemicals and Biological Materials at the Presidency of the University of Mosul and Assistant Lecturer Rand Raad from Al-Noor University College, as well as Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abu Al-Saud Abdulzaher from Beni-Suef University in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabeel Kadem Abid Al-Sahib, and in cooperation between the College of Physical Education & Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul and Al-Noor University College, the nineteenth International Scientific Conference for the Faculties of Physical Education and Sports Science and its departments and the tenth conference for young researchers was held during the period: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 31 May, 1 and 2 June 2022 at the University of Mosul. The work of the two conferences began with a speech by Prof. Dr. Muneer Salim Taha Al-Badrani, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs of University of Mosul, representing the President of University of Mosul, then Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamid Al-Suwaidi, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of the Conference, followed by Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, President of the Deans’ Council Physical Education and sports sciences Colleges and Departments in Iraq. Then the children of the university's kindergarten and nursery presented the (Our Heritage) event, and the media of the university and colleges presented a video presentation on sports in the sectors of these institutions. The shields were presented to senior, distinguished, and retired guests. After that, Prof. Dr. Walaa Abdulfattah Ahmed, from Egypt, presented her research which is entitled (Governance in Sports Institutions) The opening session was attended by Prof. Dr. Aqeel Yahya Al-Araji, President of Al-Hamdania University, and the representative of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Aliaa' Abbas Ali, Prof. Dr. Waheed Al-Ibrahimi, Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, and the deans of the faculties of physical education and sports sciences and their departments in Iraq… In addition to the deans of the two colleges organizing the conference, Professor Dr. Ahmed Hamid Al-Suwaidi, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul, and Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajar, Dean of Al-Noor College. 33 papers were presented during the conference sessions by researchers from Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and Italy [...]
