The teaching staff of Al-Noor University College receive attention and appreciation from research institutions, universities, and colleges in Iraq, acknowledging their distinguished status. Recently, the College of Education for Girls at the University of Iraq awarded its shield to Dr. Azhar Suleiman, a faculty member in the English Language Department at Al-Noor University College, amidst its selection of academic pioneers in the higher education sector. They were honored and given the title of 'Leading Professor' by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, each adorned with their personal image as a mark of respect for their status. Dr. Azhar Suleiman currently serves as the Director of the IELTS Center at Al-Noor University College, which is set to commence operation after its approval by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Additionally, he heads the editorial board of the international cultural magazine 'Al-Manar,' an influential publication in Iraq and Nineveh in the field of cultural and artistic journalism. Moreover, he is a member of the Iraqi Translators Union and the General Union of Writers and Authors in Iraq.
