Under the patronage of the Iraqi Academic Syndicate and with the support of Al-Noor University,
the "Distinguished Academic" celebration was held on Thursday, 4/4/2024, in the Khwarizmi Hall at the Faculty of Electronics Engineering. This event was organized by the Iraqi Academic Syndicate branch of Nineveh on the occasion of Iraqi Academic Day.
The celebration was attended by the State Advisor to the Prime Minister, Dr. Mohammed Iqbal Al-Saidali, presidents of universities in Nineveh province, their deputies, representatives, deans of colleges, former university presidents, and a selection of university academics.
The event included a video presentation showcasing the activities of the Academic Syndicate and a speech by the president of the syndicate branch in Nineveh. The speech highlighted the syndicate's role and its collaborative work with the ministry and universities in monitoring the educational process and its role in ensuring and enhancing the quality of education in all educational institutions.
During the celebration, the syndicate honored university presidents, professors, and outstanding academics with the Excellence Shield.
