The influx of well-wishers continues as Al-Noor College transitions into Al-Noor University. On Sunday, 7/4/2024, a ceremony was held where a delegation from the Union of Writers and Authors of Nineveh, including the poet Saad Mohammed, the President of the Union, the poet Abdulmunim Al-Amir, a member of the Central Council of the General Union of Writers and Authors in Iraq, and the poet Mohammed Jalal Al-Sayegh, a member of the Administrative Committee of the Union in Nineveh, visited. The visit began with a meeting with Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, the Dean of the College, where a bouquet of flowers was presented to the university which has become the pioneer of private universities in the land of Nineveh received by the Dean, discussions ensued regarding areas of cooperation in cultural programs, including seminars, conferences, lectures, book signings, and participation in literary work judging panels for student competitions. Opportunities for hosting workshops in various literary genres and more were also discussed.
