Dr. Mohammed Bassel Qasim Al-Azzawi, an instructor in the English Language Department at the College of Education at Al-Noor University, chaired the doctoral dissertation defense committee of student Asem Abdulrahman Hamadi at the College of Education for Women at Mosul University. The dissertation was in the field of phonology in the English language, titled "Intonational Phrasing in Modern Standard Arabic TV Interviews." The defense took place on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. The defense committee included Dr. Hassan Shaban Ali, an instructor at Tikrit University, Assistant Professor Dr. Marwan Najib Tawfiq, Assistant Professor Dr. Abaa Modhafer Yahya, Assistant Professor Dr. Ziad Rakan Kadhim, and Assistant Professor Dr. Anmar Hamoudi Saeed, all from Mosul University. The dissertation and the student's defense received acclaim and admiration from the defense committee, and the dissertation was approved with a high distinction.
