On Thursday morning, 2/5/2024, the German delegation for the Cultural Heritage Digitization Project, as part of a collaborative program between Brandenburg University and Mosul University, visited Al-Noor University. They met with the university's president, Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, and the chairman of the board of trustees. The guests were given a tour of the university to explore its clinics, laboratories, halls, and radio station, Al-Noor FM. Additionally, some members of the delegation participated in interviews on the radio station. Later, the German delegation enjoyed a tour of the left bank and the old city aboard an open-top tour bus provided by the university.

Various figures and entities from Nineveh, including unions and associations, continued to visit Al-Noor University to extend their congratulations to its community on the occasion of its transformation from a college to a university. They met with the chairman of its board of trustees, discussing ongoing and deepening cooperation. The delegation conveyed greetings from the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate's president, Iraqi journalist Muayad Al-Lami, expressing his joy and congratulations on this significant positive transformation. Additionally, the delegation presented a uniquely printed and beautifully packaged Quran to the chairman of the university's board of trustees, symbolizing the noble meaning of the institution's work, rooted in its firm beliefs, justice, and excellence. Professor Dr. Khazal Fathi Zidan, the Dean of the College of Education at Al-Noor University, chaired a thesis defense committee for the doctoral dissertation presented by the student Shah Wabu Faraj Hameed to the College of Languages at Salahaddin University. The dissertation was titled 'Mechanisms of Discourse in Ibn Muti's Al-Fiyyah,' supervised by Professor Dr. Ashwaq Mohammed Ismail Al-Najjar. The defense committee included Assistant Professor Dr. Ribwar Allah Khatab, Assistant Professor Dr. Khalid Ahmed Huwaz, Assistant Professor Dr. Shukat Taha Mahmoud, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nazneen Omar Abdulrahman.
