Saad Saleh Dheyab, an assistant lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering and Project Management at the College of Engineering, Al-Noor University, participated in an engineering project as part of the Sustainable Development Festival held at the University of Mosul earlier this week.

The project aims to document three-dimensional models of engineering structures related to water resources projects such as the Mosul Dam and the Northern Jazeera Irrigation Project, among others. These models are then presented using VR technology to provide a virtual tour of these sites in an innovative manner, leveraging modern technologies to enhance learning experiences. The project, initiated by the team consisting of Professor Saad Saleh Dheyab, along with students Azza Nasrallah and Mohammed Abdul Sattar Al-Tah, serves as a starting point for a larger idea. The research project competes with several other accepted projects from various disciplines in the Sustainable Development Festival.
