Under the patronage of Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, and in collaboration between Al-Noor University College, the Women's Affairs Department, and the Government Media and Communication Department at Northern Technical University, a scientific seminar titled "Family Cohesion and the Reasons Behind the Increase in Divorce Rates" was organized. The seminar was presented by two lecturers from the Law Department at Al-Noor University College: Asst. Prof. Dr. Faris Ahmed Aldulaimi and Dr. Rana Saad Al-Soufi.
During their lectures, they addressed the importance of family cohesion and its impact on society by establishing active individuals, thereby increasing productivity and fostering high levels of self-confidence acquired from the influence of the family on their mental health. This enables individuals to excel in maintaining their well-being and resilience against challenges, thus creating a society characterized by love, tranquility, and peace, as a result of the values instilled by this cohesion. The lectures also touched upon legal interventions in this field, particularly aimed at reducing family breakdown, and concluded with several recommendations.
